These Terms of Service govern your use of ScriptExpert.app, ScriptExpert Code Editor, licenses, downloads, updates, plugins, support and related services.
1. Software and services
ScriptExpert Code Editor is a desktop development application for supported Windows and Linux systems. Features may include source editing, AI agents, terminal tools, local development services, project tools, plugins and update services.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account and billing information. You are responsible for your credentials and activity performed through your account.
3. Licenses
A ScriptExpert license grants a limited, non-exclusive right to use the purchased edition according to its activation limit, platform, distribution channel and published terms. License keys and purchase codes may not be shared, resold or used to bypass activation or security controls.
4. Payments
Prices, billing periods, included features and applicable taxes are shown before checkout. Third-party payment providers may apply their own terms.
5. Delivery and updates
Digital products are delivered through the customer account, the application or the relevant marketplace. ScriptExpert may provide security, compatibility, maintenance and feature updates. Release channels and compatibility requirements may change as the product evolves.
6. Plugins and integrations
Plugins, MCP servers and third-party integrations may have additional requirements. Only install packages from trusted sources and compatible releases.
7. Customer data
Project files, source code, databases, terminal history and AI conversations remain under the customer’s control unless the customer deliberately sends content to an external service or provider. ScriptExpert does not receive project contents merely because the application is licensed.
8. Refunds and consumer rights
Refund eligibility depends on the product, payment method, marketplace rules and applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
9. Support and availability
Support is provided through the channels published on ScriptExpert.app. Online services may occasionally be affected by maintenance, hosting or third-party outages.
10. Acceptable use
You must not use ScriptExpert to violate laws, distribute malware, abuse payment systems, attempt unauthorized access or interfere with the service.
11. Intellectual property
ScriptExpert, its software, website, design, documentation and official plugins are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. A license does not transfer ownership of the software or source code.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScriptExpert is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of data or interruption caused by misuse, unsupported configurations, third-party services or failure to maintain backups.
13. Changes
These Terms may be updated when the product, services, legal requirements or business practices change. The current version is published on ScriptExpert.app.
